Terms of Service
Last updated 17 September 2026
These terms govern your use of https://datasortpro.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What this site is
DataSortPro is a free, independent collection of tools that take official public datasets and organise them into answers to specific questions. It is informational only. There is no account, nothing is for sale, and the tools do not ask you for personal information.
Where the data comes from
Every tool names the agency or research group that publishes its data and links to the original dataset. That data belongs to its publisher and is provided under the publisher's own terms and licences, which continue to apply. Datasets are refreshed on a schedule, so a tool can lag behind the latest figures the source has released.
Accuracy — please read
Official data contains errors, gaps, suppressed values and figures that are later revised. On top of the source data, the tools make calculations of their own: totals and averages, inflation adjustments, percentile ranks, comparison groups such as size bands, and the exclusion of implausible outliers. Each tool explains its method, but a method can be wrong and a calculation can have bugs.
Check the original source before you rely on any figure.
Not advice
- Nothing here is financial, investment, tax, legal, employment, purchasing or professional advice. Comparing a solar quote, a store's sales or a county's wages with public records can inform a decision; it cannot make it for you.
- Scores and positions of elected officials are taken from published research and describe voting records. They are not ratings, endorsements or predictions.
- You are responsible for any decision you make using information from this site.
No affiliation
DataSortPro is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any government, agency or research group whose data it uses, including NYSERDA, the New York State Department of Labor, the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics or Voteview. Their names are used only to identify the source of the data.
Acceptable use
You may use the tools and share the figures you find, for personal, research, journalistic or internal purposes. Please credit the original publisher, and DataSortPro where our calculations are involved. You may not:
- scrape or crawl the site or call its data endpoints at a rate that burdens it, or circumvent any rate limit or access control;
- republish the tools or their data wholesale as a competing product;
- use the site unlawfully, or attempt to breach, probe or disrupt its security or availability;
- present anything here as official, or as endorsed by a government, agency or data publisher.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text, code and the arrangement of its tools belong to DataSortPro. The underlying data belongs to its publishers under their own licences. Product, agency and organisation names belong to their owners and are used descriptively.
If you believe material here infringes your rights, write to [email protected] identifying the material and your rights in it, and we will review it promptly.
Availability
The site is provided free and may change, break or disappear without notice. We do not guarantee uptime or that any dataset will keep being updated, and are under no obligation to maintain the site.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, savings or data, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its figures. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to USD 100.
Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence — including, in the EU and UK, statutory rights that these terms cannot override.
Changes and governing law
We may amend these terms; the date above will change, and continued use signals acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
